Transferring objects

At this age, babies like to grab things, however, they don't know how to transfer things from one hand to the other.

This activity is very useful for them to learn how to transfer objects from 'hand-to-hand'
What you need:
2 toys your baby can hold easily
How to play:
1) Give your baby one toy to grab and hold
2) Then give the same hand another toy
3) Show and encourage your baby to transfer the first toy into the other hand before grabbing the new toy
This activity helps with the coordination of both hemispheres of the brain as well as vision and hand motor functions
