Follow the Footprints

This game also helps your toddler to recognize colors as well as build his or her confidence.

Preparation:
Find a cardboard and cut it into 20cm X 20cm (8 inches X 8 inches) square
Trace your toddler’s feet onto a piece of paper, one for the left foot and one for the right foot
Prepare ten sets of footprints
Decorate each set by painting each pair of footprints in different colors
Then, cut the different colored footprints and paste then onto the cardboard squares
 
Here's how to play:
Lay out the cardboard squares on the floor, making it into pathway for your toddle to walk on
Remember to secure the cardboard squares with tapes so that they do not slip when your toddler steps on them
Say out the color and encourage your toddler to step on the footprints with the color mentioned
 
Clap your hands and compliment your toddler when he or she steps on the right color
This game will enhance the development of the large muscles, balance and bodily coordination
